Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to manufacture precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments based on production requirements
- Load raw materials and monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
- Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and program settings as needed to maintain part tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues, equipment malfunctions, and dimensional inaccuracies
- Edit CNC programs at the machine when necessary to improve performance or correct issues
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and inspection documentation
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and reduce downtime
