Lhoist North America, a leading supplier of lime, limestone, and mineral products across the North American marketplace, is seeking a motivated Bulk Loader/General Plant Laborer to join the team at their Crawford, TX location.
This is a critical role responsible for general manual labor duties throughout the plant including but not limited to housekeeping duties, heavy equipment operation, and quality control management.

Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Ability to operate and perform light maintenance on loader
- Understanding of plant process flow and plant equipment.
- Ability to perform light maintenance procedures including changing flashing, cleaning filters, chute and ductwork cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures including greasing, belt changing, and oil changes
- Ability to take samples, run quality control analysis, and be the eyes in the field for SQF, 5S, and other plant initiatives
- Identify safety and SQF non-compliance within plant (examples include foreign material like buckets, scrap metal, rags, job spoils, etc)
- Support Shipping department by cross training and being able to step in when busy including loading trucks and ticketing
- Ability to perform repetitive manual labor including but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, lawn maintenance/landscaping, pressure washing, etc.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and ability to input SAP notifications
- Shadow/assist maintenance (recommend 80 hrs/year)
- Consistent BBS safety compliance
