Gibbs Die Casting, manufacturer of precision die-cast aluminum, is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the Henderson, KY area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises maintenance team members on assigned shift.
- Assigns work to shift technicians.
- Administers time and attendance utilizing Dayforce, including approval/denial of paid time off requests and approval of time.
- Conducts attendance counseling.
- Documents all team member incidents regarding behavior; prepares counseling reports; documents all accidents.
- Participates in objective setting, budget planning, team member development, and performance review responsibilities for meeting maintenance related KPIs.
- Actively coaches root cause problem solving and permanent corrective actions with expectations that Tech group focuses on root cause solutions.
- Ensures maintenance team members are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to perform their essential job functions in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Communicates regularly with all maintenance team members and production shift managers, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication is delivered and understood concerning maintenance issues.
- Assists with the hiring of maintenance team members.
- Conducts team member performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency levels of maintenance team members’ knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Utilizes predictive maintenance tools, planned maintenance activities and emergency work order system to improve equipment uptime.
- Uses part manuals to contact vendors to get quotes for repairs and spare parts.
