Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Technicians, providing daily direction and support
- Participate in daily management floor meetings and communicate quality priorities and issues
- Partner closely with shop floor management to align quality with production priorities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer quality issues, complaints, and RMAs, ensuring timely and professional resolution
- Perform and oversee inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, vision systems, etc.)
- Interpret and review blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to ensure product conformance
- Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve processes, and enhance overall quality performance
- Track and analyze quality metrics and present findings to leadership
- Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems (JobBOSS² preferred) for reporting and documentation
