Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute purchasing activities based on MRP signals within IQMS
- Procure raw materials (resins, colorants, additives), packaging, and indirect supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet production demands
- Review and act on system-generated purchase suggestions and reorder points
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, pricing, and supplier data in IQMS
- Communicate with production, scheduling, and engineering teams to align supply with demand
- Track and expedite orders to prevent shortages or production downtime
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Support new product launches with material sourcing and supplier qualification
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
