Darling Ingredients is seeking Production Operators/Plate Freezer Operators to join their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift teams at their Mifflintown, PA location.
In this role, you will be responsible for general plant labor, including operating machinery, forklift operation, grinder operation, housekeeping, cleaning, painting, grounds and general housekeeping in all areas of the plant.

Minimum qualifications:
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to climb stairs and silos.
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work inside and outside in hot and cold temperatures.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- General plant labor
- Utilize and operate a forklift
- Plate Freezer Operation
- Inventory counts
- Stretch Wrapper Operation
- Pressure Washer Operation
- Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
- Shovel and clean up spills in the plant
- Keep barrels emptied of trash and product
- Clean equipment from top to bottom
- Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains
- Paint as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
