Air Perfection is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Installer and an Apprentice to join their team. The installer will be provided with a company van and will be dispatched from home to service customers within a 30-mile radius of Richmond.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute installation of residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and indoor air quality products
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior installers and helpers on job sites, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to best practices
- Plan and coordinate daily job activities, materials, and labor to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Interpret blueprints, load calculations, and technical specifications to ensure proper system design and installation
- Oversee equipment sizing, layout, and system design to maximize efficiency, performance, and code compliance
- Fabricate and install duct systems, ensuring proper airflow, sealing, and insulation standards are met
- Ensure all electrical, refrigerant, and condensate connections are installed safely and in compliance with applicable codes
- Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning to verify proper operation and customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot complex installation challenges and implement effective solutions in the field
- Conduct final quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, providing clear communication and professional guidance
- Maintain accurate job documentation including materials, labor, and installation details
- Coordinate with project managers, dispatch, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance on all job sites
- Manage and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall installation quality
