Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment in a shop environment
- Perform troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and routine service to ensure equipment reliability
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components following manufacturer guidelines and best practices
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and verify repairs
- Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete jobs accurately
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time tracking
- Coordinate with parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe at all times
- Assist with equipment movement, setup, and preparation for jobs as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
