About Us
Principle Enterprises originally began as a transportation company in 2007 in Canton, Pennsylvania. By 2011, with the emergence of the Marcellus shale boom, Principle had grown from a small trucking company to a trusted water hauler for the oil and gas industry. As our customers’ demands grew, so did our fleet. Principle adapted by adding winch trucks and sand hauling capabilities.
In 2012, Principle added field crews and roustabout services, along with heater and glycol unit rentals, snow plowing, and containment services. Shortly after, Principle again increased its service offerings with frac tank rentals and assisting customers with water sourcing, storing and transferring water for their required pipeline hydro-tests.
Principle expanded its geographic footprint into the tri-state area with the opening of its new shop and office in Canonsburg, PA. This strategic new location enabled Principle to support new clients and as a result has grown to over 250 employees.
In 2019, Principle added its construction division, which focused on ROW restoration, slip repairs, and environmental controls. The ability to bundle various oilfield services continues to benefit our customers by providing substantial cost savings.
