About Us
High Mountain Processing is a combination of the two largest wood fiber processors in the Western United States. This combination allows us to offer a broad range of industry leading products in several categories including wood fuel pellets, oil and gas remediation, animal bedding, industrial absorbents, and other applications.
As the oldest established wood fuel pellet manufacturer in the Rocky Mountains, we are extremely appreciative of our loyal customer base and are constantly striving to meet the ever-increasing demand for our products. Recently we have undertaken major upgrades to our production facility which will enable us to meet the demands of our 30% year-over-year sales growth, while maintaining the quality that our customers demand.
At High Mountain Processing, we are committed to protecting our planet Earth. We begin by utilizing local beetle-killed pine and other waste streams to produce our products, and we have created a sustainable, state-of-the-art manufacturing process. Using beetle killed trees helps rid the forest of dead, combustible matter and spurs regeneration of healthy forest growth. Our fuel pellets emit less than 15% of the particulates emitted by a regular wood-fired furnace or stove and our animal and coop bedding sequesters carbon and nitrogen that can be used as all natural fertilizers. Our operation help reduce our carbon footprint by deriving 50% our energy from renewable, biomass sources. High Mountain Processing—making a green product even greener.
