Excel Truck Group is seeking a Sales and Product Sales Representative – New Business Development to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This position will be part-time to start.
If you are comfortable introducing yourself to strangers and starting conversations cold, have a valid driver’s license, and can travel throughout the Charlotte, NC territory, we want to hear from you!

Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Make in-person cold calls on truck and trailer parts and service prospects who are not current Excel Truck Group customers
- Introduce our parts and service operation and build initial relationships with new accounts
- Work from a target list and plan efficient routes across the territory
- Identify decision makers and uncover parts and service spend at each prospect
- Present product lines, programs, and pricing to generate first-time orders
- Identify truck and trailer unit sales opportunities during your calls, and pass qualified leads to our truck and trailer sales team
- Log all prospecting activity, account details, and sales leads in our CRM
- Support the parts counter and warehouse between field days — this is where you build the product knowledge you will use in front of customers
- Help with parts deliveries and store coverage when branches need support
