Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously improve the Bank’s enterprise-wide Compliance Management System (CMS).
- Develop compliance policies, procedures, controls, risk assessments, monitoring, testing, and annual compliance plans.
- Oversee compliance for consumer lending, credit cards, digital banking, deposits, ACH/payments, and other financial products.
- Lead the Fair and Responsible Banking, BSA/AML, BIN Compliance, and broader compliance programs.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Lending, UDAAP, Regulation Z, Regulation E, the Credit CARD Act, NACHA/ACH rules, and other applicable regulations.
- Oversee compliance related to digital banking, automated decisioning, AI tools, and consumer data-sharing practices.
- Identify and manage emerging compliance risks, customer complaint trends, and corrective actions.
- Provide compliance oversight of third-party vendors, fintech partners, processors, and other service providers.
- Serve as the primary compliance liaison with regulators and lead regulatory examinations and responses.
- Build, manage, and develop the Bank’s compliance team.
- Advise executive leadership on regulatory developments, compliance risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present compliance reports, risks, findings, and program updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
