Due to growth, Plastics Extrusion Machinery is seeking CNC Machinists to join their team in McPherson, KS.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine precision components according to specifications.
- Select, install, and properly set cutting tools, fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot setup or tooling issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine machine maintenance (maintain coolant and machine lubrication) maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with programmers, engineers, and other manufacturing team members to successfully produce custom and complex components.
