Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
- Lead, coach, and support production team members, including training new employees and providing ongoing performance feedback.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines and customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues, equipment problems, and workflow bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to improve processes and reduce downtime.
- Track and report production metrics such as output, efficiency, scrap, and labor utilization.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and documentation.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure proper use of equipment and PPE.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
