Due to promotion, Wilo USA LLC, one of the leading manufacturers of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air-conditioning solutions, water supply, and sewage & drainage, is seeking a Commodity Manager to join their team. Ideally this role will be based out of their Cedarburg, WI location, but they are willing to consider someone remote if they have foundry or castings experience in addition to the requirements below.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commodity strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and price fluctuations.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commodity strategies with company objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance metrics are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Analyze supplier performance and assess risk to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure supplier products meet quality and specification standards.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive database of suppliers, pricing, and purchasing history.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market conditions to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supplier contracts.
