Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of 10+ warehouse personnel including loaders, receivers, and inventory movers.
- Develop team members through training and coaching, ensuring a consistent focus on accuracy, accountability, and urgency.
- Create a positive and performance‐driven culture that aligns with Showbest’s core values.
- Operations & Process Management
- Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement across all warehouse locations.
- Ensure materials are received and distributed correctly, with documentation tracked in real‐time using ERP/WMS systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement cycle counting and audit procedures.
- Optimize warehouse space and layout for maximum efficiency and safety, taking into account domestic production and imported goods.
- Systems & Strategy
- Utilize ERP and inventory systems to drive better visibility and accountability in warehouse operations.
- Champion system adoption among warehouse staff to ensure accurate data entry, labeling, and tracking.
- Monitor KPIs for warehouse performance (e.g., accuracy, efficiency, damage rate, timeliness) and implement improvements where needed.
- Cross‐Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance teams to align schedules, deliveries, and material needs.
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on delays, shortages, or process changes that impact downstream operations.
- Work with outside vendors, shipping carriers, and third‐party logistics providers as needed.
- Safety & Compliance
- Uphold workplace safety standards, conduct regular safety training, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Manage equipment, tools, and physical resources of the warehouse to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment
