North State Environmental, a leader in the stream and wetland restoration industry, is searching for Excavator Operators to join their team. Home office is located within Winston-Salem, NC.

If you have 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, they want to hear from you! GPS and/or Caterpillar controls experience is a plus!

• Some Travel Required – Most projects are within the Southeast US but can be regional. If out of town travel occurs, the company provides transportation, housing and per diem, so you are taken care of! When jobs are local, you could be home most nights and weekends.

The instability and erosion of streams and rivers causes loss of riparian vegetation such as trees and shrubs. Essential Functions

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in Pipe Installation, General Grading, & Site preparation.

• Excavators w/ Hydraulic Thumbs

• Bulldozer

• Wheel Loaders

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of the Project Manager, Safety Director, or Human Resources Manager as needed.

• Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in equipment training.

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor, clean equipment.
