Duck’s Poultry Transport Inc. is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers to join our team in the Talmo, GA area.  This is a rewarding role where you will help local businesses in the Northern GA area by hauling live chicks from the hatchery to the farms and unloading with Moffett. 

Previous Live Poultry/Feed/Egg hauling and Moffett experience is a plus!

• Valid Class A CDL with 2-year verifiable satisfactory driving record. 
• Experience unloading trucks 
• Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Arrive each day at the shop at appointed time. 
• With a “Can Do” attitude effectively and efficiently accomplish the task given each day. 
• Follow all Biosecurity protocol (wearing coveralls, hair nets, rubbers boots). 
• Hatchery driver will be responsible for hauling live chicks from the hatchery to the farms and unloading with Moffet. 
• Keep the truck in good operating order, follow all DOT rules and regulations. 
• Maintain all Company and DOT documentation. 
• Ensure the load is completely secured. 
• Operate Moffit forklifts to unload at breeder farms. 
• It is vital to provide a SAFE working environment for you and everyone on site. 
• Available to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and long shifts. 

About the Company: Duck Poultry Service is a family-owned company that has been serving the poultry industry since 1942. Prodiving services to multiple poultry companies located in the North Georgia area. A recent addition to Duck’s Poultry Services Inc. is Duck’s Poultry Transport LLC. a subsidiary company providing turnkey solutions to our customers’ pullet transportation needs. The services provided to include loading, transporting, and unloading live poultry at breeder farms. Picking up eggs from breeder farms and delivering them back to hatchery.
