Installation Technician / Mechanic

Lifeway Mobility, a leader in an accessibility solutions, is seeking skilled Field Install Technicians to join their team in Union City, CA.

If you have any hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, installation etc.) or any in-home installation experience (cable, appliance, etc.), and can lift up to 75lbs, this is your start to a fulfilling career!

• Monday – Friday daytime schedule! Some overtime opportunities are available on Saturdays to earn more but are not required.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Install and repair accessibility products including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and more
• Explain the project to the customer and answer questions
• Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer system
• Receive manufacturer training and on-the-job training (paid time)
• Pick up and load company vehicle at the Baltimore location each morning
• Work on jobs throughout the Baltimore area
• No overnight travel, occasional Saturday overtime
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team
