Edwards Oil & Propane is seeking the addition of an HVAC/ Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in the Virginia, MN area. No previous experience required!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the customer’s home mechanical systems and Edwards Oil and Propane/Lucky Seven General Store facility systems.
• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC equipment in the customer’s home and gives the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair if applicable.
• Uses basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair, or test various products regarding the HVAC equipment.
• Installs HVAC appliances and Propane Gas/Fuel Oil distribution systems.
• Obtains HAZMAT Endorsement, and at minimum Class B CDL License within 90 days of employment.
• Is responsible for inventory compliance on assigned Service Vehicles.
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems.
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean, and in good working order and condition.
• Ability to communicate, read, and understand written text of a technical nature to answer questions, solve problems, make decisions, or complete job tasks.
• Ensures complete protection of customer’s property by installing and servicing Heating (HVAC) equipment safely and professionally.
