Carson Team, a leader in the petroleum industry, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join their close-knit team in Eugene, OR.

If you have at least 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, experience using diagnostic software, and a stable job history, we want to hear from you! A Class A CDL license is also required. If you do not currently possess one, Carson Team will pay for you to get it upon hire!

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience using diagnostic software. (Davie Diagnostic, Cummins Insight, or DiagnosticLink are highly preferred.)
• Stable job history.
• After treatment diagnostic and repairs experience.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Routine vehicle preventative maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Repair malfunctioning components, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn out parts, and change hydraulic fluids.
• Extensive engine experience on Cummings ISX, Caterpillar and Paccar MX, Detroit.
• Knowledge in the Cummings onsite diagnoses program and the Paccar Davies diagnoses program.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
• Perform a variety of routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and changing tires.
• Adjustments and light repairs such as tire changes, light changes, and basic electrical work.
• Experience in petroleum tanker piping systems a plus.
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
• Complete all applicable company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
