Fox Innovation & Technologies, an environmentally conscious leader in compressor technologies, is looking for Manual Machinists in the La Porte, TX area.  

Requirements: 

• 1st Class Machinist – 15+ years manual machining experience, including line bore of turbine, pump, gearbox or compressor cases 

• 2nd Class Machinist – 8+ years manual machining experience, including lathes, mills, and VTL 

• Both positions require experience machining to close tolerances

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform shop repairs and machining operations. Manufacture new components per drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions with some limited supervision. Requires attention to detail and very few reworks, rejections, or scrap parts.  

• Coordinate with Lead Man to ensure special repairs requirements are met. 

• Organize and maintain an efficient clean machine shop area. 

• Work overtime as required to meet customer emergency breakdown demands. 

• Willingness to learn and test for advancements based on abilities and ambitions presented by the employee. 

• Perform and promote Fox safety standards within shop environment.
