Trident Process Systems, a leader in custom fabrication and welding, is seeking a proven MIG or TIG Welder to join their team in Gainesville, TX.

If you have 2+ years of TIG or MIG welding experience, this is an opportunity you should explore. ASME Pressure Vessel Welding Experience is highly preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to read and follow specific Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) listed on fabrication drawings
• Must be ablet to provide welding quality that meets ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 requirements
• Know how to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels and tape measures.
• Need to know how to layout degree lines on vessels according to fabrication drawings
• Need to be able to fit all the nozzle connections within required fit up tolerances. Examples (two-hole on flanges, set nozzles at correct projections per drawings, etc.)
• Need be able to perform vessel head to shell fit ups
• Need be able to make sound full penetration welds on both nozzle connections and girth seam welds. (Root, Hot Pass, Fill and Cap passes)
• All welding can be subject to X-Ray, PT and hydro testing.
