Transportation Distribution Company (TDC)., an employee-owned freight carrier primarily consisting of company-owned tractors and trailers, is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Fenton, MO.  

Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Fenton or be willing to relocate to the area. Relocation assistance is available for an excellent candidate.

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

• Performs routine, preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections, in compliance with FMCSA inspection guidelines  

• Performs various non-scheduled repairs on trucks and trailers with limited supervision   

• Records all work performed on work orders and inspection forms, responsible for entering accurate information on work orders while maintaining accountability for allocation of parts to specific equipment  

• Cleans and maintains assigned work areas  

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management 

About the company: TDC started in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1984 with five employees serving Monkem Co. It grew to 55 employees and 40 tractors, expanding services to include storage, delivery, and drayage.
