Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist supervisor in planning, scheduling and assigning various jobs.
• Order parts and materials for the maintenance department from the warehouse and purchasing department as required to install and maintain equipment.
• Locate, diagnose and repair troubles in mechanical systems and equipment.
• Work with electrical hand and power tools, measuring and testing instruments.
• Use and interpret for others complicated blueprints and drawings.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns to resolve cause of trouble while keeping work of unit on schedule.
• Always follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate work performed to their supervisor, next shift, and maintenance scheduler.
