Transco Lines, Inc., a logistics and transportation management company specializing in expedited freight, is searching for a Fleet Manager to join our North Little Rock, AR team.  

If you have at least 1 year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry as a Fleet Manager, Freight Broker, or Dispatcher this is an opportunity you need to explore!

Primary responsibilities: 

• Serve as drivers’ supervisor/representative in Operations 
• Manage drivers’ performance in identified categories and be primary communication link to drivers 
• Work to achieve optimum driver and customer satisfaction 
• Sole communications link to driver, including, but not limited to, load information, advances, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling and dissemination of general company news and information 
• Responsible to ensure your driver turnover stays in the ideal range 
• The ideal range will vary month by month, but preventable turnover should never exceed 115%
• In case of dedicated freight your MPU goal may be adjusted to fit the expectation of that specific business unit 
• Overall safety- Hours of service, unsafe driving and overall CSA scores  
• Make sure drivers are current on preventative maintenance on their trucks 
• Update drivers on road conditions and restrictions as communicated by the Safety Department
