Andrew Tool & Machining, a shop that specializes in low-volume, high-precision parts that require extreme attention to detail with no room for imperfections, is seeking a CNC Machinist with a high attention to detail and drive to learn to join their team. They have two shops local to each other, one in Maple Grove and the other in Plymouth.
If you have CNC machining experience including setup and programming, experience with and working knowledge of GD&T, and stable work history, this is a career you need to explore. Job Shop experience is highly preferred but not required

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and optimize 5-axis machine tools to produce high-quality, precision components efficiently.
- Program, document, and modify multi-axis CNC programs from CAD models using CAM software.
- Design, create, and apply work holding and fixturing solutions of varying complexity.
- Set up and run new and repeat jobs while maintaining target efficiency and throughput standards.
- Perform secondary operations (e.g., deburring) to meet finished product requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support machine reliability and uptime.
- Achieve tight-tolerance machining requirements using established best practices.
- Troubleshoot machines, setups, tooling, and programming issues to maintain production flow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and product outcomes.
- Contribute to team performance through effective communication, knowledge sharing, and support of training and mentoring efforts.
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
- Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
