Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis) for aerospace components
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Install tooling, fixtures, and work holding; set tool offsets and machine parameters
- Perform first article inspections and in-process checks to ensure tight tolerances
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code) to optimize performance and accuracy
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Work with high-performance aerospace materials (e.g., titanium, Inconel, aluminum)
- Maintain strict compliance with aerospace quality systems and documentation (AS9100)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives
