Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for machinery and facility systems.
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and mechanics; assign tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance, analyze breakdowns, and implement improvements to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety standards; promote a strong safety culture.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize spending on labor, parts, and outside services.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, parts procurement, and service agreements.
- Oversee spare parts inventory, ensure critical components are stocked, and implement inventory tracking systems.
- Lead initiatives such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean, or Six Sigma to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, generate reports on KPIs (downtime, MTTR, MTBF), and present findings to leadership.
- Lead installation, upgrade, and expansion projects for new equipment or facility improvements.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to align maintenance strategies with production goals.
