About Us
Service Center Metals is an aluminum extrusion and billet manufacturing plant headquartered in Prince George, Virginia. Our company is vertically – integrated with four plants on a 100-acre campus.
Our flagship Extrusion Plant has two state-of-the-art presses, named Elvis and The Boss. Right next door is our Compact Remelt Plant where we recycle our scrap and produce aluminum log (aka billet) for our extrusion presses on four horizontal casting lines named Mick, Keith, Jake and Elwood. Our Compact Remelt Plant not only has state-of-the-art equipment, but it is the world’s largest horizontal log casting plant.
In 2023, two new plants named Cash and Jimi were constructed, adding 350,000 sq. ft. of floor space and expand SCM’s capacity and offerings. The new Remelt and Casting Plant and Extrusions Plant allow for increased production of Emerald Eco-Billet, SCM’s premium recycled log, and custom extrusion profile options.
